Things to know:

  • The 50m outdoor pools at Clem Jones Centre & Sleeman Sports Complex are heated through winter months, but consider warm clothes for afterwards. There are hot showers available as well.
  • If weather on training nights is unsafe, a decision will be made by 5.30pm if training will proceed. Members will be notified by email and Facebook.  If a storm approaches quickly while playing or training, players will be advised by the coaches to clear the pool.

  • If you cannot make it to training, please let your team manager know as soon as possible via your team's WhatsApp chat group.
  • The club will be providing free sausage sizzle BBQs at Clem Jones on alternating Tuesday and Thursday nights.

What to bring:

  • A water bottle, clearly marked with your name.
  • A towel & jumper for after training.

Cost:

  • At Clem Jones - You'll need to pay pool entry at the gate - pay per session or purchase a multi-visit pass (mention that it is for water polo).
  • At Sleemans Sports Complex - bring along $5 cash or card to tap-n-pay with the coaches at the pool (to cover pool hire costs)

Coaches:

  • All our coaches have blue cards and are registered with WPA and WPQ.  

Medical conditions:

  • If a player has a medical condition which requires consideration during training and games please notify the coach and team manager.
  • If you are feeling unwell, recently returned from overseas or displaying any symptons of COVID-19 please do not attend training.
